As-Directed Rates
Time Charges: $60 per hour. There is a one-hour minimum within our central service area, meaning that orders for periods shorter than one hour must still be charged for the full hour. For orders starting between midnight and 4:29 a.m., the minimum is two hours. For orders within Washtenaw County, but outside of our central service area, there is a two-hour minimum. Past the minimum period, billing is in 15-minute increments. The price includes up to 20 miles per hour, or 5 miles every 15 minutes.Distance Charges: For each mile over 20 per hour, or 5 per quarter-hour, the charge is $2.50/mile.
Out-of-Town Charges: If the drop-off is outside of Washtenaw County, the customer will be charged an additional $2.50/mile from the drop-off point back to the Custom Transit office at 2500 Packard Rd. in Ann Arbor. This is in addition to any other charges.
Holiday Charges: There is a $5 per hour surcharge for any as-directed service on any of the following holidays: New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving or Christmas.
